Taxon description

Description. Horizontal, straight, curved to irregularly winding, strings without wall, preserved in full-relief on parting surfaces in marlstones. The strings are 0.5-0.8 mm wide. They are filled with a dark, ferruginous, argillaceous sediment and surrounded by a yellowish halo. Dichotomous, Y-shaped and T-shaped branches can occur.
