Diagnosis. Annulate, well lined Palaeophycus, with annulations on a millimetre scale. This ichnospecies differs from that of P. annulatus, P. anulatus and P.serratus chiefly in the size-range and clarity of its annuli, as well as the distinct nature of its lining, and from P. alternatus by the lack of striate sections.
