Taxon description

Webby, 1970

Diagnosis. - Random, sinuous to meandering trails, from 1-2 mm wide, with irregularly spaced transverse constrictions.

Description. - Sinuous to meandering trails which exhibit a tendency to form an irregular meshwork of crossing and branching strands. Trails are from 1-2 mm wide (mainly from 1.5-2.0 mm) and up to 0.5 mm high. They show a crudely transverse annulated appearance with constrictions chiefly at 1-4 mm intervals. In the holotype (Fig. ISC), one very fine linear current marking seems to cross a trail, but others appear to terminate against or become offset by the trails.
