Diagnosis: Astropolichnus with 30-48 radial ridges separated by narrow grooves and wide (transversely) circular area of axial cylinder occupying one-third of the entire burrow; long radial ridges of about equal size, 1-5 mm wide, wider distally (emended by Pillola et al., 1994).
