Diagnosis (emended after Hanken et al., 2001; and Zonneveld and Gingras, 2013): Vertical, sack-like or bottle-shaped burrows with concave downwards or V-shaped laminae in the lower part and one or two tubes in the upper part. The tubes are passively filled, and may be actively lined partially or completely with mud, silt or shell-hash. Horizontal burrow sections vary from circular to oval and rarely ovoid or heart-shaped.
