It cannot be ruled out that this ichnospecies represents an early ichnogenetic phase of D. dendrina based on its morphological similarity but smaller size according to data from Hofmann (1996) and its reinterpretation in the revision of Wisshak (2017).

Microboring; substrate calcareous; tracemaker invertebrate?

Emended diagnosis: Rosette of irregular outline and with wide and lobed galleries, common fusion, and only few ramifications. Inlet tunnel relatively short and often entirely obscured by the rosette.

Diagnose: Rosettenförmiges Gangsyslem mit sehr breiten und zerlappten Gangformen, häufigen Verschmdzungen einzelner oder mehrerer Gänge und nur wenigen Gangverzweigungen.
