Taxon description

Diagnosis : Quebecichnus with branches diverging from points about 3/4 of the distance from the origin to the distal terminus of each segment; branches averaging about 20 cm long, 1.5 cm wide, and 3--8 mm thick; branching angle between 15 and 50 ~ averaging close to 30 ~ Pellets about 3 mm long and 1 mm across, up to 10 to 12 per square centimeter as seen on an exposed horizontal surface.
