Species

Cruziana breadstoni Crimes, 1975

Taxon description

Crimes, 1975c

Diagnosis. Trilobite furrows with very regular, deeply impressed and clearly separated endopodal markings meeting medially to give a high V-angle (60- 120°). There is no tendency for the endopodal markings to run parallel to the median line when approaching it. The markings can occasionally be seen to be composed of two or possibly three scratches, but such individual scratches are so close that they do not interfere with the regular appearance. External lobes and markings and also genal spine grooves are absent. Many traces often interfere on a single slab to give a cross-hatched appearance (PI. 3 b).
