Diagnosis: Machichnus consisting of isolated, systematically recurring, both longitudinally striated and smooth scratches.
Description: A series of scratches that are approx. 10 mm long, shallow but relatively wide (0.6 to 0.7 mm). They are divided by intervals approximatelyof the same width as the traces themselves. Part of the scratches bear two or three thin, longitudinal striae of the second order (Fig. 3d). Transverse crosssection of the scratches, thereby, resembles the Wletter (Figs. 4b, 4c).
