Species
Ropalonaria bassleri (Voigt & Soule, 1973)
Taxon description
Diagnosis: Terebripora (?) with a regular pattern of very thin and straight stolons burrowed in shells. Major stolons ramifying simultaneously on both sides at regular intervals and at angles of about 60-80 degrees. The branches leave the main axis within a short distance of the apertural ends of the zooecia. Zooecia are long and cylindrical, lying nearly horizontally, embedded within the shell immediately beneath the stolonal path and parallel to it. The apertures, placed on or below the stolonal axis, appear as small ovoid holes tapering to a minute slit laterally.
