Taxon description

Wilson & Palmer, 1998

Diagnosis: Gastrochaenolites with smooth sides and circular cross-section throughout length; expands gradually below the aperture, with greatest diameter about three-fourths of the depth; bases are rounded; no distinguishable neck.
