Rhizocorallium commune Schmid, 1876

Taxon description

Unbranched, rarely branched burrows with a preferred subhorizontal orientation. The burrows are elongate, band-like, straight or winding, and may have subparallel longitudinal scratches on the wall. Faecal pellets (Coprulus isp.) are common within the actively filled spreite and the marginal tube.
