Nihilichnus Mikulás, Kadlecová, Fejfar et Dvořák, 2006
Trifilio et al., 2023
Revised diagnosis: Roughly triangular to ellipsoidal holes that lack bio-glyphs and filling. Their perforation axis may be per-pendicular or oblique to the surface of the bone. Individually or in groups, the holes reach the cortical and cancellous bone. Their borders can be soft or irregular, and the outer part of the margin of the cavity shows minute, irregular jags caused by a brittle deformation.
