Diagnosis. A Diplocraterion with free tubes, protrusive or retrusive, with laminated septum of sandstone, mudstone and faecal pellets. Plugged tubes 2.0--10.0 mm. in diameter, length, 9.0--55.0 ram. and depth up to 12.0 era. Specimen~s usually occur in banded sediment of mudstone and fine grained sandstone, rarely penetrating thick sandstone beds.
