Taxon description

Schlirf, 2011

Diagnosis: Multi-lobate Ilmenichnus with spreite laminae between a lobe-forming tubular limb.

Description: Unlined, horizontal to slightly oblique, multi-lobate spreite structures. The spreite laminae are located between a distinct outer tubular limb that forms the lobes. Exterior of entire burrow may be smooth, or with longitudinal to transverse grooves and ridges. Burrow fill massive, or with a low to high ovoid pellet content.
