Diagnosis: Vertical to subvertical, straight to partly straight with offset bends of <15° axial offset (Figures4A–B, 5A), solitary, elongate, unbranched, and cylindrical boring in muddy calcareous stiffground to hardground substrate. Intact individual has a narrower opening at the bedding surface and a wider and cup-shaped rounded end inside the substrate, which imparts an overall club or baseball-bat shape. Cross sections are circular. The wall is composed of calcareous material with surface growth annulations on its outer surface (Figure 5).
