Chondrites patulus Fisher-Ooster, 1858
Baucon et al., 2020c
Chondrites patulus Fischer-Ooster, 1858 is formed by long and straight tunnels located at alternating positions from a central axis; the angle between the main-branch and adjacent branches is obtuse (Uchman, 1998, 1999);
Razzolini et al., 2016
Description. Horizontal to subhorizontal, straight to curved, flattened, branched tunnels, mostly 0.5-1.0 mm wide. At leastthree orders of branches are present. Commonly, branches of adjacent orders are perpendicular to each other. Branches a-ternate; at their proximal part, most branches are inclined at about 45° with respect to the stem, and curve to about 90° after 2-3 mm. Other branches are perpendicular to the stem at proximal parts and are inclined by about 45° distally.
Uchman, 2001
Description. A system of horizontal to subhorizontal, flattened, straight to slightly curved, branched tunnels, about 1,2 mm wide. Only second-order branches occur.
