Description: Elongated, cuneiform ridges, commonly in sets of three parallel elements repeated laterally. Length of ridges varies between 4.5-8.5 mm. Ridge diameter ranges from 1 to 2 mm. Spacing between adjacent sets varies from 29 to 42 mm. Preserved as hypichnial ridges.
Remarks: Monomorphichnus is distinguished from the related ichnogenus Dimorphichnus by the presence of two different types of impressions in the latter.
