Lophoctenium Richter, 1850

Comb-like arrangement of simple probes running obliquely from a gently bent, rarely branched stem, which is 40–50 mm long. The stem is 2–4 mm wide, the probes are up to 22 mm long, 3–3.5 mm wide. The probes are grouped on one side of the stem or on both sides. In the latter case, they coalesce and their boundaries are diffuse.
