Bradshaw, 1981

Description: Bilobed surface furrows preserved as epichnial grooves, between 6 and 20 mm in width but usually in the order of 15 mm. Furrows bisected longitudinally by a median ridge up to 2 mm high (Fig. 24, 25). Furrows either long, straight to gently curved and parallel to bedding, or short lengths "scooped" into the bedding plane (Fig. 26). Margins well defined and slightly raised (up to 2 mm). Bottom of furrow usually smooth, but well-preserved specimens exhibit transverse or pit-like depressions on either side of the median ridge (Fig. 24, 25).
