Revised diagnosis: Oblong faecal pellets in form of isolated, loose pills with a cylindrical to oval shape, concave rounded ends and circular cross section. Their surface is smooth, and internally they consist of finegrained, homogeneous sediment.The length/width-ratio commonly lies between 1.5 and 2.0

Original diagnosis: Uniform excrement in pill-form with long-oval shape, length up to 1.5 mm, width up to 0.8 mm, washed into or deposited within worm tubes (translated from MAYER 1952:378).
