Taxon description

Diagnosis: Small, rose-shaped trace-fossil consisting of some 9 petal-like elements arranged around a round spot marked with sediment resembling in colour that of the host rock. The ratio of the central spot to the whole burrow is 1:4.5. The petals display rounded terminations, the length to width ratio ca. 1:3, and are up to the central spot separated from each other (modified after Lorenz von Libumau, 1901).
