Description. This small (5-8 µm; much smaller than Planobola macrogota) and common trace fossil is characterised by globular coccoidal cavities directly fused with the substrate (Fig. 6B) or connected to the latter by a thick stalk (Fig. 6A). The cavities are found either solitary or associated in often large numbers, without interconnecting galleries (Fig. 6B).
