Taxon description

Ekdale et al., 1989

Diagnosis: Sertaterebrites with vertical, protrusive spreite; invidual tunnels that make up the spreite are uniformly 2 to 4 mm in diameter; calcareous tunnel walls may or may not be present; excavated in the crevice between adjacent biolithite oncolites, polygons, or domes in such a way that mirror images of the boring are cut into both walls of the crevice.
