Diagnosis: Shallow, elongate boring in calcitic substrate, with narrowly rounded ends; sides parallel, chipped and slightly convex in plan view; rounded bottom in transverse section; length equalling more than three times the maximum width; ornament of irregular shallow grooves, overprinted by much smaller scratches with no preferred orientation.
