Diagnosis. Elongated species of Laufeldochitina with a claviform chamber, whole vesicle covered with longitudinal discontinuous striae (longitudinal ridges), sharp basal margin carries a very short thickened carina, flexure and shoulder inconspicuous.
Description. Its main characteristic is the presence of closely spaced linear striae (with height of 2–4 μm), which follow the outlines of the overall shape of the vesicle. The cylindrical neck comprises about 1/2 of the total length. The base is flat or rarely covered with concentric thickenings. The short carina at the margin of the flattened vesicles is often broken.
