Description. Its main characteristic is the presence of closely spaced linear striae (with height of 2–4 μm), which follow the outlines of the overall shape of the vesicle. The cylindrical neck comprises about 1/2 of the total length. The base is flat or rarely covered with concentric thickenings. The short carina at the margin of the flattened vesicles is often broken. The aperture is straight.
