Taxon description
Fan, R. et al., 2021
Subhorizontal burrow system consisting of a circular to elliptical ring-like main burrow and numerous regularly arranged tangential branches, contributing to an octagonal or dodecagonal pattern. The circular main burrow is locally not preserved and only uniformly turned segments are present. The branches or burrow segments are mostly straight, 0.5–1.3 mm wide, uniform in a single structure, and 6–30 mm long. The averaged turning angle between successive segments of individual specimens is 32◦–56◦, with an average of 43◦ (N = 51). The diameter of the circular main burrow is 20–45 mm.
