Revised diagnosis. (After Zhang et al. 2008) Wide J-shaped cylindrical burrow with a pointed or hemispherical blind termination and a tapering aperture, or a shallow arcuate burrow. A passively filled lumen is enclosed by thick lamination, partly with spreitelike displacement. Longitudinal or oblique striation may occur on the outer margin of the burrow.
