Diagnosis (original). A “Rhizocorallites” that originated parallel to the bedding within the sediment, often close above the lower bedding plane, and contains of segments with almost equal length. The U-limbs often run “guided” next to each other, similar to the curved parts of helminthoids. [Translated from German]. Diagnosis (revised). Rhizocorallites with barrel-shaped segments with a length/width ratio of less than 1.
