Diagnosis:Ellipsoidal holes with branching furrows. Both holes and furrows penetrate through the cortical bone into the cancellous bone, but neither contains filling or bioglyphs. The holes are perpendicular to the bone surface and have sharp edges, whereas the furrows have a smooth bottom, U-shaped cross-sectional mor-phology, and smooth edges.
