Diagnosis: Machichnus consisting of deep thin scratches, narrowing to one end. They occur parallel in a simple series.
Description: Among the described traces, these scratches are most conspicuous. They are 23–28 mm long and 0.5 to 0.65 mm wide; walls are steep; the scratches occur in a subparallel-assembled series. They begin at the edge of the pebble and subsequently narrow towards the centre of a side wall of the pebble (Fig. 3c).
