Taxon description
Kowalski, 1987
Diagnosis. Ridges at stratification planes, circular in outline, with smooth surface, 0.5 to 0.7 mm in diameter. Individual sections usually 2 to 5 mm long but sometimes up to several tens of mm long. Remarks. The variability in diameter is very small in this ichnospecies. No traces with diameter intermediate between that of the proposed ichnospecies and other ichnospecies of Planolites (see [23]) were found.
