Hints, L., 1975

Shell of small size for the genus, with convex ventral valve about as long as wide, and plane to faintly convex dorsal valve. Dorsal interior with bilobed cardinal process, filling the notothyrium; adductor muscle field oval, extending anteriorly for nearly three-fifths the length of the valve, posterior pair of scars about equal to anterior ones. Radial ornamentation of resserellid type, consisting of fine costellae, varying from 7 to 8 per 2 mm, at 5 mm anterior of dorsal umbo.
